Need help with windows movie maker more info>>?

i have a mini digi camera where i can records clip using the program - the problem is the mini camera doesnt have a built in mic so i use the seperate one- when i record my self and speak to the mic the audio is not matching with what i am saying also another problem is the audio sound is too low - i would like to put thse clips on youtube - does anyone kw how to adjust the audio settings to increase the volume as well as any suggestons on how to put the video and the audio together and doesnt look one is ahead of another?
