Does anyone like spiders and would you ever consider owning one as a pet?

I don't like spiders, but they aren't really harmful last year i had two spiders share my bed with me for a night! i caught them and put them outside because i wouldnt want to kill them, i dont think it would be that bad having a tarantula as a pet.
