I wrote on here previously about my 86 year old nan having cll?

at the time she had just been diagnosed (late last year) she did not need treatment. however, a couple of months later so had become so anemic she had to have a transfusion, which she said had worked (this was 2 moths ago) she had an apponitment yesterday and now she has to have a bone marrow test. i know this is another diagnostic thing, i think, but why if the transfusion had worked? i understand the very basics of the illness she has, but dont understand all the jargon as such. is she getting worse? can someone help me understand this please.
