I'm not sure what you're asking, but scientific studies have shown that there are genetic or in-utero hormonal components to ual orientation, contributing either entirely (I doubt) or at least in part (I believe) to one's ual orientation. There is no such data for pedophilia, which seems to be a psychological paraphilia.
